The Overdose Epidemic is at an all-time high. There have been over 100, 000 deaths every year for the last couple of years and this year it is expected to be well above that. Why are so many people dying? What can we do to help? What do I need to know? You may have heard catch phrases like “Harm Reduction” or “Medication First” but what do those encompass, and do they really help?
The Dept of Health and Human Service and the Federal Executive Board are offering an in-person training on what to do during an overdose and how to use Narcan will also be provided.
