Workshop Overview

Whenever we think, we think for a purpose. Such thinking occurs within a point of view based on assumptions leading to implications and consequences. We use concepts, ideas, data, facts and experiences in order to answer questions, solve problems, and resolve issues. When these foundational processes are understood on a deeper level and then applied utilizing the multiple facets of such thinking processes, we are practicing what is known as critical thinking. Such thinking, when applied correctly goes beyond strategic thinking, tactical planning and even common-sense to serve as the potential for effectiveness in problem-solving and decision-making.

Living up to this potential has become a necessity in our modern and complex organizational world. Change anyone? OK, sounds good, but how is it done? In this workshop, we will define, analyze, and practice the elements of critical thinking but not just “thinking for thinking sake”. We will target our thinking toward solving real issues for better results.
