The Impact of Presidential Transitions
On January 20, 2017 a new President will be inaugurated and a new batch of Political Appointees and their staffs will begin their term in office. Are Federal Executives and Employees ready for this transition?This forum will help career managers and executives get ready for the new Administration. While this forum will include a Constitutional discussion of how and why this transfer of power takes place, the main focus is a practicum for how career executives can prepare for this momentous change.

TRAINER | Grace Cummings, Founder of Working with Congress
Grace is the founder of Working With Congress, bringing with her over 24 years experience in campaign politics and service on Capitol Hill.  Since 1995, Grace has pursued her passion for teaching as an adjunct faculty member at OPM’s Federal Executive Institute. There she teaches an intensive three-day seminar entitled “Working with Congress.” During this period, she also has taught at the USDA Grad School, the Department of Defense and served as a guest lecturer for American University’s Campaign Management Academy and Georgetown University’s Government Affairs Institute. Over this time, Grace worked full-time in a variety of executive and consulting positions, both on and off Capitol Hill. In March 2005, Grace decided to begin her own training business and bring Working With Congress to a wider audience.

No refunds for cancellations or no shows. However, you may send a substitute in your place.
