Artists compete for cash prizes & the competition is open to federal employees & their immediate family members in Colorado.

MAKE a DIFFERENCE DAY

October 22, 2016

http://makeadifferenceday.com/

On October 22, 2016, millions of volunteers across the nation will unite with a common mission – to improve the lives of others.  In its 25th year, Make a Difference Day is the largest national day of community service.

For the second year, the Colorado Federal Executive Board’s (CFEB) Workforce Development Council (WDC) is soliciting volunteer opportunities at charitable organizations throughout Colorado on Make a Difference Day.  In 2015, 116 feds volunteered at 11 nonprofit organizations in Colorado and we hope to double that effort in 2016!

We are contacting you to see if the nonprofit organizations you work with are planning any projects on Make a Difference Day that will need volunteers.  If so, please send the name of the organization and the point of contact name, phone & email to Gay Page | gpage@colorado.feb.gov by August 26, 2016.  Once we collect a list of volunteer opportunities, we will publicize the opportunities and have links for employees to register online to volunteer.
